Kim Kosko,
Director of Communications. Ms. Kosko joined New Jersey Sea Grant as Communications Coordinator in 1985. She has a dual B. A. in broadcasting and communications from Montclair State University in New Jersey. Her professional background includes print, radio and TV production, news writing and reporting and public relations. Her current activities center on feature writing, marketing and promotion and project development.
Kim likes to spend her free time
reading, hiking, and competing in tracking and agility with her dog Autumn. |

Marsha Samuel, Communications Specialist. Marsha previously worked at NJMSC as a part–time Communications Associate in 2002 and joined the staff full time in 2006. Her current professional interests include organizational image management, event planning, and writing for and editing NJMSC's award-winning magazine The Jersey Shoreline. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina and enjoys hiking and photography in her spare time. |

 Rory Joyce

Rory Joyce, Communications Associate. Rory is the organization’s Graphic Designer & Publications Specialist.
She is a graduate of Rosemont College and studied Graphic Design at the Maryland Institute
College of Art on the graduate level and computer graphics. Rory creates posters,
brochures, annual reports, booklets and other materials for NJMSC, many of which have won National award recognition. Before joining NJMSC, Rory managed the production
and art department for a publishing company in Houston, Texas. |

Cindi Valkos, Webmaster. Cindi holds a B.A. in Business from The County College of Morris and a diploma from The Chubb Institute in Business Programming and Web Development. Cindi joined NJMSC in 2001 as an Education Technology Assistant for the NJMSC Education Department, helping develop its web page content. She eventually took on additional duties maintaining and uploading information to the NJMSC web site. Cindi has been with the Communications Department since February 2007. |
