Each year, COAST DAY NJ features a photo contest with cash prizes awarded. The competition is sponsored by NJMSC, NJ Sea Grant and the NJ Department of Transportation, Office of Maritime Resources. Finalist entries are displayed at COAST DAY NJ where the public votes for their favorite.

NOTE: NJMSC retains publication rights for all photographs submitted. Payment for use of photos will not be made beyond contest prizes. Photos become the property of NJMSC, returned only if pre-paid, self-addressed mailers are provided by the entrant. In addition to publication in THE JERSEY SHORELINE, photos may be used in future Coast Day NJ materials including advertising and promotional media. Photo credit (your name) will be given.
